云落镇是广东省揭阳市普宁市的镇，博雅地名网称其位于市境西南部，百度百科则称在市中部。镇域东邻池尾街道和大南山街道，南接马鞍山农场与惠来县，西连梅林镇和高埔镇，北与梅塘镇、里湖镇相接。镇名因驻地而定，又因山谷白云缭绕，且传说有仙鹤栖于密林，故也称云鹤。[1][2]
镇境有324国道纵贯，交通便利。农业以水稻、甘薯和水果为主；工业以机械、服装和凉果加工为主。镇内古安村有温泉。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
明清两代，这一带先后属海丰县与惠来县的龙溪都。民国时归惠来县第六区管辖。解放前后属南阳山特区，1950年3月并入普宁县，当年5月改属梅林区，1952年改归普宁县第十一区。1957年这里成立乡级建制，取名云落乡；次年划入南阳山公社，又过三年，即1961年，单独设立云落公社。1983年起称云落区，1986年由区改为镇。[1][2]
地理环境[edit]
镇域面积103.04平方千米（据百度百科）。镇境有寒妈水库，寒妈古庙即在其湖畔。[2][3]
人口[edit]
据第七次全国人口普查结果，2021年6月公布的云落镇人口为5.35万人[1]。百度百科另载：2020年末登记在册的户籍人口为7.8万人，农村户籍占7.6万人[2]。
经济[edit]
农业以水稻、甘薯和水果为主，工业以机械、服装和凉果加工为主[1]。镇域先后三次入选「淘宝镇」名单：2020年9月由阿里研究院公布，2021年10月由阿里研究院与南京大学的一个研究中心共同发布，2022年10月又上榜[1]。
名胜古迹[edit]
寒妈古庙在324国道附近，临寒妈水库，是一座民间信仰场所，始建于明代，供奉潮汕地区的母亲神[3]。庙名与「冻媪寒婆」的传说有关：据说一名赴考的举子途经望天岭，见路旁一位冻亡的老妇，为她覆衣并许下承诺，后来高中还乡建庙。因行人在此焚草取暖，庙又称寒妈宫，所在路段称寒妈径[3]。
