大星村是高埔镇下辖的行政村，位于镇的南部，距镇区约9公里，普惠高速公路沿村而过。[1][2]

沿革[edit]

此地原属惠来县，建国后归普宁县月南乡。1958年公社化时成立大队，1962年分出，另建大星大队。1983年高埔公社改区，此地设大星乡；1986年改为村委会，1990年为管理区，1999年又改称村委会。[1]

自然与资源[edit]

村境包括6个自然村，大道营是其中之一，它也是村的别名。惠来隆江上游的洋溪河流经村域，村中有大坑、官前尾两座水库。[1][2]

名胜古迹[edit]

七星洞天位于村北的横屏岭，道观建在南侧山腰上，前面临官前尾水库。据普宁市人民政府门户网站所载，它被称为潮汕地区最大的道教建筑，道教在此的历史可追溯到公元260年。[1][3][4]

产业[edit]

村中多种荔枝与青梅，属高埔镇的青梅、荔枝基地之一。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2019年9月，大星村列入2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。[1]
