南营村是高埔镇下辖的行政村，位于镇的南部，东南与惠来县葵潭镇接壤，西面与陆丰市陂洋镇交界。[1]

沿革[edit]

这里原属惠来县，新中国成立后划归普宁县月南乡。1958年公社化时，周边七个自然村合并成一个大队；1972年拆分，其中两个自然村另组成大队。1983年高埔公社改区，此地设南营乡；1987年高埔区改镇，设南营村委会。1990年为管理区，1999年又恢复村委会的名称。[1]

自然与资源[edit]

普惠高速公路沿村而过，村中有水泥路通向广汕公路。村内有井仔里水库、阴山径水库两座，惠来隆江上游的洋溪河流经南营河段，河上有大桥一座。[1]

产业与人口[edit]

村内农业以水稻和水果为主，荔枝、橄榄的产量较高，村中的荔枝种植属高埔镇荔枝基地的一部分。[1]

村中有海外侨胞，是高埔镇的侨乡之一。[1]

村内有文化活动场所两个，老人活动中心一个，小学一所。村属革命老区。[1]
