社径村是高埔镇下辖的行政村，位于镇的西部，西北与船埔镇接壤，高埔通往稔尾的公路穿村而过。[1]
沿革[edit]
这里原属惠来县，新中国成立后改属普宁县高埔乡。1958年公社化时，本村与几个邻村合为一个大队。1961年又分出，另成大队；1972年改用社径大队的名称。1983年设社径乡，1986年改建村委会，1990年成为管理区，1999年重新设为村委会。[1]
自然与产业[edit]
村境内包括六个自然村，分别是后洋、田心仔、寨上、新寨仔、大坡洋和角斜。村民以果树为生，青梅与橄榄的种植尤多。[1]
高埔河的一条支流流经村境，村内水源、沙石与林木都较丰富。村中的清流古庙前有溪水流过。[1]
