高埔村是高埔镇下辖的行政村，位于镇区东南面，属镇的中心地带，辖区内商贸服务较为集中。[1]
沿革[edit]
新中国成立前这里属惠来县，此后划归普宁县高埔乡。1958年公社化时，周边数个自然村合为一个大队；1963年改称新营大队。1972年，高埔与神坪两个自然村自成一个大队。1983年撤公社改区，设高埔乡；1986年撤区改镇，设高埔村委会。1990年改为管理区，1999年又称村委会。[1]
自然与产业[edit]
村下辖高埔、神坪、上车上3个自然村。农业以种植水果为主，青梅、橄榄颇多，是高埔镇青梅基地之一。高埔河流经辖区，建有水电站一座。附近山上蕴藏有锡、铜等矿产。[1]
辖区内商铺林立，有农贸市场、购物商场和宾馆，食品加工厂、锯木厂和石板材厂等企业也较多。[1]
文化与古迹[edit]
村中有关帝庙，属文物古迹。埔顶小公园内设有灯光球场，并立有革命烈士纪念碑。村内另有一所小学和一个文化广场。[1]

2022年10月，「2022年淘宝村」名单公布，高埔村入选。[1]
