高营社区是高埔镇镇区所在的社区，位于镇的中心地带，是全镇商贸与行政活动集中的地方。[1][2]

沿革[edit]

高营社区的前身是1992年组建的管理区。它于1999年转为居民委员会，2002年又改为社区，名称延续至今。[1]

圩市[edit]

社区内的圩场是全镇工农业产品的交易地，南阳山区出产的水果也多在此集散。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2019年9月，高营社区列入2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。[1]
