最早的居民自福建迁至潮阳，后又辗转迁入普宁，几经迁徙，至清末才在此定居。[1]

革命历史[edit]

大革命时期，普宁第五区政府曾设在安溪。[1]

沿革[edit]

1999年1月，经普宁市人民政府7号文通知，定名为安溪村委会。[2]

经济[edit]

农业以水稻、甘薯和蔬菜为主，另产青梅、橄榄等水果。[1]
