石盘村位于普宁市区东南约8.3千米处。明末，张姓一支因战乱从福建迁至大埔，清初又迁来此地定居。村子四周环山，多石，地形圆似盘，故名石盘。[1]

革命历史[edit]

1928年，十大南山苏维埃第五区的治所设在本村。[1]

沿革[edit]

公社化之后（1958年），村子划为石盘大队；至1984年，它成了下架山区的石盘乡。1986年起称石盘村委会，1990年改设石盘管理区，1999年1月才正式定名为石盘村委会。[2]

经济与文化[edit]

农业以稻谷、甘薯为主，山地出产青梅、橄榄、油甘、桃、李等。村中有服装、绣花等企业。村中的石盘狮班也有传承。[1]
