虎岗山村位于普宁市区东南约9.1千米处，村子建在山岗上，村后的山形似老虎踞于岗上，村名由此而来。四百多年前，最早的居民从福建诏安迁来。[1]
沿革[edit]
1983年村子曾属下架山区的一个乡，1987年改设管理区，1999年1月改称虎岗山村委会。[2]
经济与侨乡[edit]
村民多从事服装加工、印花和家俬等二、三产业，农作以水稻、甘薯和花生为主，还产油甘、乌榄。村子是侨乡，属革命老区。[1]
