多年村位于普宁市区东南约8.5千米处。明末清初，陈氏一支从福建诏安迁来，先在邻近的山岗定居，清乾隆年间（1736至1795年）再迁到现址。因后山遍生多年（即岗稔），村子称多年山；1980年地名普查时，为免与本县其他村庄同名，改为今名。[1]
红军时期[edit]
土地革命时期，村后的竹竿山曾是红军的活动据点之一。村民组织起红十字会，救护受伤的红军战士。本村人陈付任红军副连长，在云落的一次战斗中牺牲。[1]
沿革[edit]
1983年曾并入一个乡的建制，1987年改设管理区，1999年1月改称多年村委会。[2]
经济[edit]
农产以水稻、甘薯和蔬菜为主，另产青梅、橄榄等水果。工业以服装、石板加工为主。[1]
