老堆丙村位于普宁市区东南约10.2千米处，村名沿用了早期居民来源地的旧名。村中有占盐公路经过，是重点侨乡和革命老区。[1]

村名与建村[edit]

约三百年前，最早的居民迁自祖籍所在的旧村，为追溯祖籍，便沿用了那里的村名。居住点成块状布局，屋宇以三合土平房为主，间有混凝土楼房。[1]
