历史沿革[edit]

此村原归潮阳县。1958年转归普宁，初名石桥头乡，同年九月改称石桥头大队。1984年复为乡制，1986年设村委会，1990年为管理区，1999年再度采用村委会之名，并延用至今。[1]

经济[edit]

村民以加工业为主要生计。[1] 2020至2022年间，本村均列入淘宝村名单。[1]

文化[edit]

2019年9月，石桥头村列入2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。[1]
