埔栅村是占陇镇辖下的行政村，位于练江沿岸，旧时又称下埔栅。[2]

历史沿革[edit]

村名的来历是：此处原为埔地，位于村寨水流的下游，又设有栅，故名。[2]

明初，陈氏一支自福建南下，辗转迁到桥柱寨，之后分衍到周边，埔栅一带便是其中之一。[2]

1963年，埔栅从桥柱乡析出，自成行政村。此后它经历乡、管理区等建制，到1999年才设为埔栅村委会，此名延续至今。[1][2]

名胜古迹[edit]

陈氏祖祠敦本堂是桥柱陈氏一世祖陈铁峰的专祠，始建于康熙四十二年（1703年），经历代重修，现存初建时的格局与石构。[2]

缵成堂是七世陈氏仰祖的祠堂，建于清光绪十年（1884年），近年经过重修。[2]

北帝庙在敦本堂东侧，门额落款的纪年为同治甲子年（1864年），庙内奉祀两尊玄天上帝神像。[2]
