玉溪村位于占陇镇西北部，靠近练江北侧的小北山，地理位置偏僻，以农业为主。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1957年以前，本村属普宁县第五区。1958年划入超美公社，次年归占陇公社下属的一个管理区。之后它经历大队、乡、管理区等建制，1999年改设玉溪村委会，沿用至今。[1]

2019年12月，玉溪村列入国家林业和草原局公布的第二批「国家森林乡村」名单。2019年9月，本村列入2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。[1]
