龙秋村位于占陇镇西北部，村落散布在练江两岸的小北山一带，地势偏远，交通不便。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
1957年以前，龙秋村一带归普宁县第五区管辖；1958年起划入超美公社垾塘管区。此后它先后成为占陇公社的大队、占陇区的乡、占陇镇的管理区，1999年改设龙秋村委会，沿用至今。[1]
