东西南村位于占陇镇偏西部，南边靠近国道324线，与占陇西社区及下村村等相邻。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1957年以前，本村属普宁县第五区的垾塘乡。1958年归超美公社垾塘管区，1959年改称占陇公社垾塘管区。1963年设东西南大队，1983年改为占陇区东西南乡，1986年设占陇镇东西南管理区，1999年改称东西南村委会。[1]

2022年10月，东西南村列入「2022年淘宝村」名单。2019年9月，本村列入2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。[1]
