磨坑村在南径镇西部，距普宁城区约11.8公里。全村山地331亩，耕地1174亩，合计1505亩。村下辖老村、新寨、田心、新置四个自然村。[1]

历史沿革[edit]
据百度百科，黄氏先祖黄双榕于1573年迁来此地建村。[2]
1949至1958年间属普宁县第四区；1963年单独设立大队。1984年改设磨坑乡，归南径区管辖。1987年撤区改镇后，先为磨坑村委会，接着又称磨坑管理区；1999年回到磨坑村委会的名称，沿用至今。[1]
经济[edit]
以农业为主，水稻、番薯为主要农产品。村内有青磨公路与占棉公路相接。[1]
