平洋山村位于南径镇最南端，距普宁城区约12.5公里。在1331亩的土地中，耕地890亩，山地441亩。村内有下埔园、寨外等片区。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

1949年至1958年间属普宁县第四区，公社化时期划归星火农场。1984年改设为乡，隶属南径区。1987年撤区建镇后，此地设平洋山村委会，随后称平洋山管理区，归南径镇管辖。1999年起又定为平洋山村委会。[1]

经济[edit]

农业以水稻、番薯等作物为主。加工业有所发展，其中塑料制品尤为明显。占棉公路贯穿全村，村内设有公交站点。[2]

荣誉[edit]

2018年，平洋山村列入广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。[1][2]
