东岗寮村在南径镇南部，距普宁城区约12.5公里，全村面积5900亩，其中山地约5200亩，耕地约700亩。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

1949年至1958年，本村隶属普宁县第四区，公社化时期则属星火农场。1984年改设东岗寮乡，归南径区管理。1987年撤区改镇后先设东岗寮村委会，之后改为管理区；1999年重新成为村委会，此后保留至今。[1]

经济[edit]

村里以蔬菜种植为主导，村民也利用山地种植水果。占棉公路穿村而过，交通便利。[1][2]

荣誉[edit]

村里获评「2020年广东省森林乡村」，于2021年公布；2016至2017年度被评为「文明村」。[2]
