南径镇是广东省揭阳市普宁市东北部的一个镇，辖1个社区和20个行政村，镇区由南径、圩脚、田南三村组成。[3][4]

镇名来自驻地。驻地处在狮山与小园山之间的山口，位于青洋村之南，因而称为南径。[1][2]

第七次全国人口普查时全镇人口为11.61万人。农业是镇域的主导产业，水稻、番薯和蔬菜是主要作物。[1][3]

历史沿革[edit]

清代，这一带属普宁县黄山都；百度百科则称明代已隶属潮阳县与普宁县的黄山都，两种说法并存。[1][2] 民国时期，此地归普宁县的第三区和第四区管辖；新中国成立初期，改归麒麟区与第四区。[1]

1966年，麒麟公社从这里析出。此前，1957年设南径乡，1958年改归南径人民公社，1961年另设大陇人民公社，1963年又并回。[1][2]

1983年撤销人民公社，设立南径区；1986年撤区，改设为镇。[1][2]

经济[edit]

据美丽圩镇创建工作总结（2022年发布），水稻种植面积约1.3万亩，其中双季稻约2.6万亩，在各类作物中居首位；登记在册的农业经营主体中，有8家企业和30家合作社。[3]

圩脚村的南径蔬菜专业市场属普宁十大专业市场之一，蔬菜主要供应普宁市区。[3]

2020年至2022年，南径镇连续三年列入「淘宝镇」名单。[1]

文化[edit]

群众文化生活中有曲艺、舞狮，以及潮汕英歌舞、潮汕大锣鼓和剪纸等。[2] 2012年，南径镇被列入「揭阳市首批“一镇一品”专业示范镇」；2016年，获「广东省省级技术创新专业镇」称号。[2]

2024年12月，狮山书院揭牌，是一处公益阅读场所，常态化开展阅读讲座和英歌非遗培训等活动。[5]

名胜古迹[edit]

白暮洋杨氏祖祠位于白暮洋，白暮洋属四睦村，祠堂年代为1945年，是县级文物保护单位。[1][6]

龙门宗祠位于龙门村，年代为明朝，是县级文物保护单位。[1]

苏澹泊墓位于青洋山村，年代为明嘉靖年间，是县级文物保护单位。[1]
