姚厝围村位于镇域东北部，在洪和公路北侧，东边与潮阳区贵屿镇相接。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

清雍正年间，一支姚姓先人由澄海、广益和龙田乡迁入，于此立村，名为姚厝围。1999年定为姚厝围村委会，直到现在仍用这一名称。[1][2]
