山后村位于广太镇区西侧，西邻洪阳镇仙步村，村民经济以种植水果为主。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

建国初期，该村归普宁第一区与第八区管辖。其后1953年改隶第八区，名和五乡；1957年改属广太乡，名和五大队；1958年入南溪公社，名称不变。1961年改称山后大队；1974年划归广太公社，仍称大队。1984年设山后乡，1986年改为山后村委会，1990年称山后管理区，1999年再改为山后村委会。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

郑大进墓的神道石刻位于本村洪山园，刻于一块巨石上，碑文记有乾隆四十八年（1783年）立石。[2]

荣誉[edit]

2020年8月，村中杨桃产业使本村入选首批「“一村一品、一镇一业”专业村」，列于广东省农业农村厅的公告名单。2024年3月，村庄获命名为2023年度「广东省卫生村」。[1][2]
