冯厝村位于洪阳河畔，地处偏僻，离省道较远。村民多外出打工，生柑种植是本村的特色产业。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

建国初期，该村归普宁第一区与第八区管辖。其后1953年改隶第八区，名和五乡；1957年改属广太乡，名和五大队；1958年入南溪公社，名称不变。1961年设洋尾仔大队；1974年划归广太公社，仍用洋尾仔之名。1984年设洋尾仔乡，1986年改为冯厝村委会，1990年称冯厝管理区，1999年改名冯厝村委会，沿用至今。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2019年9月，村庄列入2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。[1]
