前寨村是广东省揭阳市普宁市南溪镇下辖的行政村，位于普宁市区北面，村中有明代建成的陈氏宗祠（思源堂），为县级文物保护单位。[1][2][3]

村有耕地286亩，山地450亩，淡水养殖123亩，主种柑橘。村子有乡村公路通钟梅公路，水路船只可通榕江。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

明朝末年，陈氏一支从福建莆田县迁来此地，最初建成竹浦村。后因兄弟分户立室，各自居住，才分出前寨村。[1]

1958年归南溪公社竹浦大队，1983年改属南溪区，设竹浦乡；1987年划归南溪镇，成立竹浦前寨村委会；1999年改称前寨村委会，沿用至今。[1]

革命历史[edit]

大革命时期，多数村民参加革命。村子属革命老区。[1]

文物[edit]

陈氏宗祠（思源堂）在村中，年代为明朝，类别为古建筑，为县级文物保护单位，2018年列入第六批名录，按现状保护。[2][3]
