平薛村是广东省揭阳市普宁市南溪镇下辖的行政村，曾名磨蜞村，又名平时春。村子辖后港、平薛2个自然村。[1]

村有耕地560亩，农业以水稻和甘蔗为主。村中有60%以上的村民外出务工经商，有从事贝灰、面粉加工的企业数家。揭普高速公路从村境跨过。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

明代，薛、蔡两姓村民从福建迁来定居，因蟛蜞（潮语称磨蜞）甚多，村子叫作磨蜞村。地势较低，后取四季如春之意，改名平时春，再改为平薛。[1]

解放前村子属普宁县仰山乡，名平时春。1950年定名平薛村；1952年划入第八区；合作化时期归平福乡；1958年归浮山公社。1984年复称平时春乡，属南溪区；1987年设平薛村委会，归南溪镇；1990年设平时春管理区；1999年又为平薛村委会，此名沿用至今。[1]

交通与革命历史[edit]

村北沿榕江南河可通木船，有乡村公路直通白马公路。村子属革命老区。[1]

文化与荣誉[edit]

村中有小学1所，老人活动室4间。2019年9月，村子上榜「2018年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。[1]
