玉山头村是广东省揭阳市普宁市南溪镇下辖的行政村，原名白沙头，村子北临榕江。村中人口901人，耕地215亩。[1][2]

村中以柑橘、水稻、甘蔗为主要作物，有私营加工企业和个体商贸户30多家。白马公路经过村中。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

清光绪年间（1875年至1908年），先祖迁来此地定居，村址俗称白沙头。村子周围小溪环绕，状如玉环，于是取名玉山头。[1]

1999年改称玉山头村委会，此名沿用至今。[1]

人物[edit]

已故的闽粤边纵队原参谋长陈忠志是本村人。[1]

交通与革命历史[edit]

村子北临榕江，200吨货轮可通揭阳和汕头。村子属革命老区，有小学1所。[1]
