平定桥村是广东省揭阳市普宁市南溪镇下辖的行政村，原名黄大桥，又名黄殿桥。村名后来改为平定桥，与村中北宋时的一段传说有关。[1]

村内2015年末户籍人口3348人，村中以陈姓为主。村有耕地860亩，主产柑橘、水稻和甘蔗。白马公路从村子西侧通过。[2][1]

历史沿革[edit]

南宋年间，陈氏一支从福建莆田迁来定居，当时村中已是七个姓氏聚居。村东北有一座桥，为黄姓所建，村因此称黄大桥，方言中“大”“殿”音近，后转称黄殿桥。[1]

相传北宋兵马南征时在此扎营，希望早日平定南方，于是改名平定桥。[1]

1952年曾设普宁第八区下的平定桥乡，合作化时一度叫平福乡。1958年归浮山公社，成为平定桥大队。1984年再度设乡，划入南溪区；1987年村委会设立，隶属南溪镇；1990年改设管理区；1999年定名平定桥村委会，此名至今仍在使用。[1]

经济[edit]

村中有14家私营加工企业，另有30多户个体商贸经营者。[1]

革命历史[edit]

大革命时期，村民多为农会会员。村子属革命老区。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2024年3月，村子被命名为「2023年广东省卫生村」。[1]
