林尚书村是广东省揭阳市普宁市南溪镇下辖的行政村，村名的由来与一位林姓尚书的传说有关。白马公路从村中穿过。[1]

村有耕地392亩，主产柑橘，另有荔枝园和橄榄园。村中有养鸡、养羊、养鱼等专业户41家。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

明代，洪阳一带的移民迁来此地创村。相传曾有一位姓林的尚书出巡路经此地，村子因此得名林尚书。[1]

解放前这里归普宁县浮山乡管辖；解放初曾称第八区下的林尚书乡。1956年并入浮山乡，成为林尚书村；1958年编为林尚书生产大队。1987年成立村委会，隶属南溪镇；1990年改设管理区；1999年恢复为林尚书村委会，名称延续至今。[1]

文化[edit]

村中有小学1所，并有舞狮队1班。村子属革命老区。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2019年9月，村子上榜「2018年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。[1]
