金滘村是广东省揭阳市普宁市南溪镇下辖的行政村，明代由福建移民迁来创村。村名原作赤滘，后改为金滘。[1][2]
村有耕地867亩，主种柑橘、橄榄和甘蔗，村民还利用深水潭仔溪养鱼，养鱼面积百余亩。棉梅公路沿村经过。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
明代，福建的移民来此创村。村前有一条溪涧，大篮山的洪水注入后水色发红，故称赤滘，后改名金滘。[1]
1954年划入平山管区。1963年实行生产队制，与邻近数村合为一个大队。1984年归浮山乡；1993年有了经联社这一组织形式；1999年定名为金滘村委会，此后未再变动。[1]
革命历史[edit]
大革命时期，村中不少人投身革命，八区苏维埃政府曾设在村内的金滘祠堂。大革命失败后，祠堂遭毁。村子属革命老区。[1]
文化[edit]
村中有一所小学和一处老人室。[1]
荣誉[edit]
2024年3月，村子被命名为「2023年广东省卫生村」。2019年9月，村子上榜「2018年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。[1]
