潮尾村是广东省揭阳市普宁市南溪镇下辖的行政村，位于普宁市区的西北方向，村中以柑橘和大蒜为主要作物。[1]

村中有木器加工的传统，约四分之一的劳动力从事木器生产，约一成半的农户饲养奶牛。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

元大德九年（1305年），有移民迁到此地置村。当时这里原是一片低洼的潮田，四周河溪交错，村落位于低田的尾部，故名潮尾。[1]

1949年村子归浮山乡公所管辖，1956年属平山乡管理区，1984年改为乡辖，1987年设村委会，1999年定名潮尾村委会，沿用至今。[1]

革命历史[edit]

1947年至1949年间，村子是榕江南岸武工队的活动地点之一。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2024年3月，村子被命名为「2023年广东省卫生村」。[1]
