典詹村是广东省揭阳市普宁市南溪镇下辖的行政村，位于镇域西部，处于普宁、揭西、揭东三县市交界之处，与榕江南侧相邻。[1][2]
村内以丘陵地形为主，耕地七百余亩，山地八百余亩。村子交通不便，对外道路建成时间较长，路面为沙土。[2]
历史沿革[edit]
祖先自福建莆田县来到此处，时间约在明万历年间（1592年前后）。当时村中竹林繁盛，故初名典竹，又称指竹；居民以詹姓为主，于是简称典詹。[1][2]
新中国成立前此地属普宁县仰山乡。解放初期划归普宁第八区，设典湖乡合作社。1958年为浮山公社下的典竹大队，其后并入南溪公社的典竹管区。1987年定名典詹村委会，同属南溪镇；1990年改称管区；1999年成为典詹村民委员会，名称至今未变。[1]
