典郭村是广东省揭阳市普宁市南溪镇下辖的行政村，位于普宁、揭西、揭东三县市交界处，在镇域西部，榕江南侧。[1][2]
村子地处丘陵，地理位置偏僻，交通不便，耕地约600亩，山地约1200亩，村中以农业为主，常年有大量村民外出务工经商。[1][2]
历史沿革[edit]
据载，郭氏先祖于1500年由福建古田迁到此地。新中国成立前，这里归普宁仰山乡管辖，旧名典竹村。解放初期划归普宁第八区，先后称典湖合作社、典湖乡。[1][2]
1985年定名典郭村，1999年改为典郭村民委员会，隶属南溪镇，名称沿用至今。[1]
人口与经济[edit]
博雅地名网载，全村约2400人、约400户，外出务工经商的约1500人，留在家中的村民多以务农为业。村中种植的作物主要是水稻和番薯。村集体经济收入有限，经济基础较为薄弱。[2]
