下尾张村是广东省揭阳市普宁市南溪镇下辖的行政村，别名华美村。村子位于普宁市区的北面，是一个以农业为主的村庄。[1]

村内有耕地1780亩，以柑橘为主。村中有私营加工企业11家，经营服装、粮食等加工。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

南宋年间，张姓一支从福建漳浦迁来定居。旧时村子叫下尾张，因为姓张，且村北另有一个村子，才有了这一名称。[1]

1956年起村子改称华美，两年后编为华美大队。1984年又改回下尾张村名；1990年设下尾张管理区，1999年定名下尾张村委会，沿用至今。[1]

地理与交通[edit]

村南有三江新河流过，木船可直达榕城和汕头。村中的乡道接通棉梅公路。[1]

文化[edit]

村中有赛龙舟的传统。村里有一所小学和一处老人活动室。村子属革命老区。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2024年3月，村子被命名为「2023年广东省卫生村」。2019年9月，村子上榜「2018年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。[1]
