雨堂村位于洪阳镇北部，毗邻南溪镇，距镇区约4公里，交通便利，以农业经济为主。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1961年自成雨堂大队；1984年洪阳区设雨堂乡；1987年改设雨堂村委会，隶属洪阳镇；1991年改称雨堂管理区；1999年改为雨堂村委会，沿用至今。[1]

2024年3月，雨堂村被命名为「2023年广东省卫生村」；2019年9月，雨堂村列入「2018年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）创建单位」名单。[1]
