历史沿革[edit]

村后有龟背山，村名由此而来；村委会驻地设在村中，也是村名的由来之一。[1]

1979年分设四个大队，龟背村自成大队；1987年改设龟背村委会，归洪阳镇管辖；1991年5月设为龟背管理区；1999年恢复村委会名，沿用至今。[1]
