古份村在洪阳镇最南端，距镇区约4公里，与大坝镇相邻，省道1930线在村东侧经过。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

民国时期至解放初，村地属大坝的七区；1949年11月至1953年间并入大坝乡，其后改名平坡乡古份行政村。[1]

1961年改称古份生产大队；1983年11月成为古份乡，归洪阳区管辖；1987年2月，村改为村委会建制并归洪阳镇管辖；1991年改为古份管理区；1999年4月起复称古份村委会。[1]

2024年3月，古份村被命名为「2023年广东省卫生村」；2019年9月，古份村列入「2018年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）创建单位」名单。[1]
