鸣岗村在洪阳镇南部，紧邻镇区，省道S236线穿过村境，交通便利。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1950年为鸣岗乡，1983年仍为鸣岗乡，隶属洪阳区。1987年改设村委会，归洪阳镇管辖；1991年改为管理区，1999年再度称鸣岗村委会，沿用至今。[1]

2006年，广东省建设厅将鸣岗村定为「生态文明康居」试点村。2012年10月，司法部和民政部认定鸣岗村为「第五批全国民主法治示范村（社区）」；2017年11月，中央文明委授予鸣岗村「第五届全国文明村镇」称号。[1]
