陂乌村位于大坝镇北部，毗邻洪阳镇，在镇区北侧约3公里。[1][2]

据百度百科，明朝天启七年有杨姓人家迁来定居，聚落形成后，因周围群山环抱、松柏繁茂而取名。村民主要为杨、刘两姓。村子东北侧留有一处清代烽火台的遗迹，省道236线贴着村边通过。[2]

历史沿革[edit]

1958年成立人民公社时，陂乌自成一个大队；1984年划归大坝区，设陂乌乡；1986年划归大坝镇，设陂乌村民委员会；1990年设管理区；1999年又改为村民委员会。[1]
