铁山洋村位于大坝镇东部，又称新寨仔。村子座落在潮汕平原与粤东丘陵的交接地带，处于练江流域与铁山山脉之间。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

1972年，铁山洋村析出为一个大队，属大坝人民公社。1984年划归大坝区，设铁山洋乡；1986年划归大坝镇，设铁山洋村民委员会；1990年改设管理区；1999年又改为村民委员会。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

村内的五福堂，也称新寨仔庵或普宁小灵山，是郭、黄两姓本地人于清光绪年间（1887年）创建的庵堂。1966年5月，庵堂在“文化大革命”中遭受重创，之后经重修，改称普宁小灵山。[3]

荣誉[edit]

2024年3月，铁山洋村被命名为「2023年广东省卫生村」。[1]
