马厝宅村是大坝镇下辖的行政村，位于镇域南部，南接燎原镇，毗邻省道236线。村庄1972年析出建村，被列为大坝镇特色保护类村庄。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

1972年，马厝宅村从原大队析出，自成一个大队。1984年划归大坝区，称马厝宅乡；1986年划归大坝镇，设马厝宅村民委员会；1990年改设管理区；1999年又改为村民委员会。[1]

荣誉[edit]

村庄获评「广东省乡村治理示范村」「揭阳市文明村」。[2] 2019年9月，马厝宅村列入「2018年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）创建单位」名单。[1]
