社前村是大坝镇下辖的行政村，位于镇域南部，省道236线穿村而过，村民以种植粮食和蔬菜为主。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
社前村原属前山乡。1958年公社化时与邻近村庄合为一个大队，1961年再次变动；1972年分拆后，村里只剩一个自然村，单独设为社前大队。1984年划归大坝区，设社前乡；1986年划归大坝镇，设社前村民委员会；1990年改设管理区；1999年又改为村民委员会。[1]
荣誉[edit]
2019年9月，社前村列入「2018年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）创建单位」名单。[1]
