历史沿革[edit]
1973年起，村归赤岗公社管辖，名称为东华屿大队。1987年归赤岗镇，设东华屿村委会；1990年为管理区；1999年改回村委会之称，沿用至今。[1]
经济[edit]
村民主要种植水稻，因地势低洼，常受水浸，收成不稳；另有村民外出打工或做小本生意。[1]
村内主产柑橘、水稻和甘薯。[2]
