赤岗山村位于广东省普宁市赤岗镇中部，是赤岗镇人民政府的驻地，洪棉公路横穿村境。[1]
地名由来[edit]
村两侧的山岗为赤红壤土质，村因此得名赤岗山。此地后来形成圩集，称赤岗山圩，镇名也由此而来。[2]
历史沿革[edit]
村名自1950年起沿用，初属普宁一区，次年改属第八区，仍称村。1957年2月设为赤岗山小乡，隶属赤岗乡。[1]
1958年9月划归洪阳公社，称赤岗山大队；1961年3月改属赤岗公社；1962年11月又归洪阳公社；1965年12月重回赤岗公社。1983年改属赤岗区，称赤岗山乡。[1]
1987年归赤岗镇，改为赤岗山村委会；1990年为管理区；1999年又称赤岗山村委会，沿用至今。[1]
经济[edit]
村民以种植水稻、蔬菜和果树为主，并外出打工。荔枝、龙眼是村里的主要产业，村集体经济主要靠租地收入。[1]
