历史沿革[edit]
1961年划入四联公社，此后仍称大队。1962年11月回属洪阳公社，名为彰宁大队；1965年12月改属赤岗公社，名称未变。1984年改属赤岗区，称彰宁乡。[1]
1987年改为彰宁村委会，隶属赤岗镇；1990年为管理区；1999年又定名彰宁村委会，沿用至今。[1]
自然与经济[edit]
此地偏僻，早年交通不便，过去常遭旱灾。1953年之后，村里修了山塘水库，又从引榕干渠取水，旱情才得以缓解。[2]
经济以农业和劳务收入为主，水稻、花生、番薯是主要作物。[1][3]
