益岭村是大南山街道下辖的行政村，地处普宁市区流沙南面约6公里，沿揭神公路分布，村落三面环山。村西的鸭母盆山地是村名的来源，村名原作鸭母岭，1949年后改称益岭。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
本村原属七益乡。1958年公社化时期成立益岭大队；1983年12月废社设区后自成益岭乡，1987年撤区建镇后称益岭村，隶属大南山镇。1991年3月设为益岭管理区，1999年改称益岭村委会。[2]
村中原为多姓聚居，后来陈氏从福建迁入，逐渐成为主姓，现存陈、曾、罗三姓。村中种植水稻、橄榄等作物，山地承包是村集体的主要收入。[1]
名胜古迹[edit]
宝龙寺位于鸭母岭西南侧，始建于宣统元年（1909年），由郑真亮大师倡建。清末至民国期间寺院因战乱受损，只剩残墙断瓦。经有关部门批准后，陈汉辉居士于1989年集资在原址复建，1994年11月获登记开放。[3]
