什石洋村是大南山街道下辖的行政村，村庄沿流石公路两侧分布，属城乡结合区。村内有几家家庭作坊式的小型加工企业，村民以务农为主。[1]

村内的「什石洋辉祖祠」年代为1928年，是县级文物保护单位。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

此地原属陂洋乡。1958年公社化时期设立大队，起初取名石峰大队；1981年地名普查时改以村名为大队名，称什石洋大队。1983年12月废社设区，改称什石洋乡，隶属大南山区。[1]

荣誉[edit]

近年来本村获得的荣誉包括：2019年12月，被认定为「全国乡村治理示范村」；2020年12月，列入「2020年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）创建单位」名单；2023年1月，由司法部、民政部命名为「第九批全国民主法治示范村（社区）」；2023年11月，入选广东「百千万工程」首批典型县镇村；2024年4月，列入「广东省第一批乡村振兴示范村」创建名单；2024年11月，获认定为2024年广东省「美丽庭院」特色村；2025年3月，被命名为「第七届全国文明村镇」。[1]
