泥沟村是燎原街道的行政村，村落背倚虎山，村中有民居群和碉楼，又称弥高。[2][4]

村中除张氏外，还有许、陈、郑等姓氏。[2]

地名与沿革[edit]

张氏翠峰公自福建莆田迁来开基，是为泥沟张氏始祖。元世祖至元二十二年（1285年）张氏定居后，村名定为「涂沟」。[2][3]

明嘉靖四十二年（1563年）改属普宁县戎水都。民国二十六年（1937年）归二联弥乌乡。1950年至1951年间先后隶属流沙区与第二区；1957年划入燎原乡，1958年设泥沟大队，划归大坝公社。1974年转属燎原公社，设泥沟乡；1983年归燎原区，设泥沟管理区；1987年起隶属燎原镇；2013年3月起属燎原街道，称泥沟村委会。[3]

古迹[edit]

张氏宗祠报本堂在村内南门寨中，建于清朝，为市县级文物保护单位（第七批）。[5][1]

普宁升平人瑞坊建于清康熙年间，为市县级文物保护单位（第五批）。[5]

群众学校旧址建于1937年，为市县级文物保护单位（第四批）。[5]

「王武、杨少豪、李千等烈士墓」位于村内鹅地山，年代为1958年，1988年10月20日改扩建，为市县级文物保护单位（第二批）。[5][6]

荣誉[edit]

泥沟古村入选第二批「广东省古村落」。[2]

2021年，村入选第二批广东省「一村一品、一镇一业」专业村，产业为草菇。[7]
