果陇村是燎原街道的行政村，村民多为庄姓。[3]据当地介绍，南宋末年福建人庄公从入住此地开基，至今已有七百余年。[2]

历史沿革[edit]

村地原属潮阳县的戎水都。明嘉靖四十二年（1563年）改属普宁，1582年（万历十年）复归潮阳，1732年（雍正十年）又划入普宁。[4]

民国十年（1921年）起称果陇乡，归流沙区管辖，此后曾改属二联乡和二区，1950年归流沙区，1957年并入燎原大乡。1958年设果陇乡大队，隶属大坝公社；1974年自大坝公社析出燎原公社后，村属燎原公社。1983年仍称果陇乡，属燎原区；1986年改为燎原镇果陇村，1991年设果陇管区，1999年设村委会，2013年改由燎原街道管辖。[4]

据介绍，宋代称渔湖塘口，地势低洼，水退后显出的高地俗称涸陇，后改今名。[2]

文化遗产[edit]

慈悲娘庙又称果陇娘宫，在村内寨东内溪出口处，建于清朝，列为第七批市县级文物保护单位。庙门上的石匾「慈悲娘庙」为清道光十五年（1835年）进士庄起凤所题。[2][5]

协裕批馆是侨批馆的旧址，清朝光绪年间由庄书良（庄世平的祖父）创办，民国初年至1928年营业兴盛，后因战火被烧而停业。现为普宁市第二批历史建筑。[2][6]

村内的进士第是庄起凤于光绪年间建造的宅院建筑群。[2]

人物[edit]

庄世平（1911年至2007年）曾任全国政协常委，他的故里在果陇村。[7]

荣誉[edit]

第五批「广东省古村落」名单上有果陇村，时间为2016年10月。[1]
