小扬美村位于市区北部，隶属流沙北街道，村道已经水泥化，并逐步向城市化转变。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

小扬美在1955年是合作社，1958年归流沙红色公社，成为其中的小扬美大队。1984年转为流沙区下的乡，1990年改作管理区，1999年定为村委会，沿用至今。[1]

村为革命老区，革命斗争年代，村里出过张希辉等革命者，他们为人民事业献出青春。[1]
