历史沿革[edit]

这个村先后有过几次名称变化：1958年以后称平湖大队，隶属流沙红色公社；1964年归流沙镇管辖；1986年定名为平湖村委会；1990年改用平湖管理区的名称；1999年又回到平湖村委会，至今未再更改。[1]

文化[edit]

2019年9月，本村入选2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。[1]
